Le Progres du Saguenay Upgrades CtP

TORONTO December 3, 2009

Fujifilm Canada is pleased to announce the recent installation of a Fujifilm Luxel V-8 SAL with EcoPro neutralizer at Le Progres du Saguenay, a regional daily newspaper based in Chicoutimi, Quebec.  With the new device, Le Progres du Saguenay significantly improved productivity – from 15 plates per hour to 50 plates, benefiting the readers greatly.  Higher speed, if required, enabled the production department’s capability to push the deadlines later ensuring more up-to-date contents being delivered and the high definition printing is bringing crisper text and images.  Good news didn’t stop there.  Not only they became more productive, Le Progres du Saguenay also became a lot greener.  The effluent generated by the new system is clean enough to safely go down the drain, thanks to the Eco Pro neutralizer.

Fujifilm Canada (Graphic Systems) offers seamless end-to-end services, products, and support to its customers in the graphic communications industry.  Its wide variety of products ranges from the highest quality consumables including plates, display graphics inks, and pressroom chemistry, leading-edge equipment including CtP systems, digital presses, and display graphics devices, to unparalleled professional services consultation services covering areas from colour management to pressroom audits.
